City Farmers Dogwash has proudly been involved with the event since 1998 and this year washed an incredible 335 dogs to raise $5020! All proceeds are donated to our mates at the RSPCA so thanks to all of our fellow dog lovers for pitching in.
Our good mates at the Dogs’ Refuge Home also held their annual Quiz Night on Friday 19th May to raise funds for a much needed new set of wheels. A crowd of 350 attended the night of trivia to raise more than $23,000! City Farmers were happy to help out with some goodies for prizes and a silent auction with $850 raised towards the Grand Total.

Leon Pike from City Farmers Franchising - Contribution to Franchising National Award
Perth recently hosted the National Franchising Convention from 19th – 21st October 2009. This was the first time the Convention has been held in Perth and achieved a record attendance of over 500 participants. The convention was brilliantly co-hosted by our own Leon Pike and Dixie Marshall.
Amongst the success of the entire event, the best was saved for last. Our very own City Farmer Leon Pike, was announced the national winner for “Contribution to Franchising” at the MYOB Excellence in Franchising Awards.
With more than 15 years in franchising, Leon has remained passionate about customer service, field support and developing a thriving franchising culture. This is a monumental achievement given the strong national competition and highlights Leon’s ongoing enthusiasm and love for what he does.
On behalf of everyone from City Farmers, we would like to congratulate Leon on his fantastic achievement This award recognises Leon’s contribution to City Farmers Franchising and the franchise community. Go Leon!
